To a Possessive Yandere, there's no point chasing a willing victim. Owning someone is only half of it-- the act of claiming them is the other.

There are a few traits that appeal to the general Possessive Yandere:

-An initial spark of defiance. Even if you, as a Darling, want to surrender from the beginning, you need to offer a bit of a struggle. A Possessive Yandere wants to know you won't fall into someone else's clutches so easily. Once they claim you, you are theirs alone-- so you must demonstrate some initial willpower. How you behave after you've been claimed is a different story-- but that is for another guide.

-Come off disorganized. A bit helpless, even. A Possessive Yandere wants to "fix" their potential Darling. Things you can't do for yourself, they would gladly do it for you. Even things you think you're proficient at. The Possessive Yandere knows what's best for you, better than you do. You're reading this handbook, aren't you?

-Try a conventionally attractive style, something that appeals to a broad audience. Something pretty. While a Possessive Yandere hates when others look at you, they feel satisfaction owning something many others desire but can't have.

-Be eager to learn. Show that you can follow directions. Show that you can take feedback well. A Possessive Yandere is searching for a doll who can be easily molded to suit their needs. You're being good by following these instructions.

I was hoping you would do a prompt for me? A sadistic, possessive yandere purposely leaves a way to escape for their (masochistic) pet darling. The darling takes the bait and tries to run, and the yandere chases her (like a predator hunting his prey). Eventually, she's caught, manipulated, tortured, and toyed with, to remind her exactly who owns her and why. Why she should never want to escape from her lovely new home, being a plaything for her new God. 👀

When you begin your relationship with your possessive Yandere, you think you know what you're getting into. You've always fantasized about being caged, kept locked inside and looked after. The world is scary out there-- so when he offers to keep you in his basement and care for all your needs, it's a huge relief.

That is until you learn he's also a sadistic type.

The first week you have everything you could dream of. He feeds you, pets you, cuddles and adores you, buys you presents and stuffies. He wants to be sure you feel safe and loved and that you know you're the most important thing in the world to him.

But the next week, it's a complete 180. One day, he doesn't show up at all. He cuts the power so you're alone in the dark. You agonize over what's happened to him. Is he in trouble? He couldn't have forgotten about you, could he? Not after all the affection he gave you last week.

The next day visits and apologizes. Says he got caught up at work with a big project. Promises he will never leave you like that again.

And then the next day, he doesn't come.

You start to lose your trust in him.

When he next visits, he's cold. He won't speak to you no matter how hard you cry and beg and cling to his leg. On his way out, he "accidentally" leaves the door unlocked. You have no choice but to try and escape. You're so hungry... So weak. You fear he might actually let you starve.

In a panicked desperation, you escape. He lets you run, watches you stumble out the front door with a glimmer in his eye. Waits until you're a mile away and you finally stop to catch your breath.

You feel someone hug you from behind. It's your Yandere. He leaves a gentle kiss on the side of your neck, strokes your hair, and then commands you to run.

You do.

The next day you're back in the basement. You've done well. It's just like the first week. He's so proud of you for playing his little game, spoils you for being such a good girl and running away. You're proud of yourself. All you ever wanted was to make him happy. You never should have lost your trust in him. You're safe now.

And then the next day, he doesn't come.

I am a darling who is currently yandere-less and it’s weighing me down like nobodies business, the worst part is all yandere forums are crawling with literal children (im 20 so I book it every time I notice the age range on some of these forums) it’s a frustrating quest but hopefully one that ends well.

Any tips or tricks to bring is a doting possessive yan?

I can definitely relate to this. I feel like I constantly have to clarify that I don't interact with minors. I understand they're just looking for online spaces to feel accepted and explore their identities, but it's genuinely unsafe sometimes. I'm not a nice guy by any means, but even I worry for them. Anyways, rant over.

For a doting/possessive Yandere, be enthusiastic, eager to please, and perhaps a bit clumsy. These kinds of Yanderes like someone a little helpless. Easier to control that way.

If he's truly a Doting/Possessive type, he knows how you feel about this already. It's what keeps you wide-eyed and willing. It's the devastation looming over your shoulder, the dependency, the anxiety that compels you to reach out for advice.

Give in. Stop struggling to maintain control. Unless, of course, he's like me-- a Yandere who loves to trap his darling in a cycle of fear and second-guessing.

Depending on which type you consider yourself, my advice may vary. Any other blog might tell you to get a higher-paying job, but I fail to see how that addresses your problem and it may not be realistic.

It seems your main concern is not being able to spend 24/7 with your Beloved.

If you consider yourself a Sadistic Yandere, you have multiple ways to "take care" of the situation-- ways involving your Beloved's coworkers that I won't go into detail for... legal purposes.

If you are a Possessive , or even a Doting Yandere, you'll need to make sure you're managing his schedule before and after work. Every second he has free must be spent with you to make up for the time spent apart.

A Silent Yandere probably wouldn't have this issue, since they'd be at his work every day anyways.

Like, I already take a million selfies a day sending him one is easy. I want to talk to him all the time so saying good morning is a no brainer. Taking a video of me taking my meds is so helpful because then I have proof I took them. I don't need those assholes on my social media anyways, it's easier to just block them.

But lately whenever he asks me to add something to my routine I say no because I feel overwhelmed. I work 6 days a week. I feel like I spend every waking moment trying to make him happy, and then when I'm at work I'm stuck making other people happy, and then I have no energy to make *myself* happy.

So I guess that's why he's being so extreme about it.

Sounds like you're with a very possessive Yandere who does, in fact, see you as a stuffed animal. He wants to make sure you're in one place, he wants to make sure you can't communicate with other people, and he wants to make sure he's your only source of relief and stimulation. By asking you to quit your job, he's asking you to put your complete wellbeing in his control-- which can be a huge relief for some Beloveds.

For others, it is certainly scary, so your fear is completely natural. Please be aware, though, that some possessive Yanderes will condemn that fear, seeing it as disobedience.

From what you've sent me, I can tell you desperately need a possessive type of Yandere. All of the things you mentioned are things a possessive Yandere would love to take care of for you. You need to find one to devote your existence to so you don't have to worry about making any choices-- whether it's what shirt to wear or what food to eat. A possessive Yandere will take responsibility for you and ensure you never have to worry about choosing the wrong thing again.
