Arrived here to the view of the beautiful Los Angeles sun, hills and Palm trees we headed straight for Hollywood. “The land of dreams” and its very clear people are out to get what they want. Street performers, local artists selling their music and an energy I can't explain.
While keeping my heart and mind in the “Now” I keep focused on why I’m here and my goals. Keeping a clear mind to let in anything that can inspire me over the course of this trip.
I read a blog today “5 reasons why you should be at MUSEXPO” by Music week.. They mention the following reasons : Understanding the US market, Its about the music , Inspiration, networking and having fun!
These are all the reasons why I’m attending and I loved reading it this morning as I get ready to go. Being from Ireland and having worked with some american companies while managing, their work ethic and way about it has intrigued me and I want to know more. I want to be inspired, I want to meet people who were where I am, people that had a vision and it took them away! Being very obvious, I want music, I want to drown in it and see more! Networking…. Not a fan of this word but people and relationships yes. I want to meet people and build relationships that last a life time! Having fun… I intend to :D But one thing… Whats all work without play???? I attended a “Time vs Energy management” workshop last week and learned that you need to do the things YOU feel like doing without feeling like its something you shouldn’t do. There is a reason for this… It restarts you in a way to motivate you to do more (There should be a balance, All fun and no work doesn’t work either beware!).
Think of yourself and allow yourself to have fun! Make sure to celebrate accomplishments and then allow yourself to move higher or closer to where you want to be.
