Yes, you. You incredibly unique and wonderful person.
You might think “pff I’m not unique at all” but that’s where you are so, horribly wrong. There is no one else on this earth who is exactly like you. Sure, there are people who might look like you or share some of your interests, but no one is exactly like you. All your experiences and decisions have stacked up and shaped you to be the person you are at this very moment. And whatever you decide to do in the next moment will shape you to be the person you’ll be in a few minutes. We are constantly changing and shifting in our identities. We are never the same from one moment to the next. And the fact is- you have absolutely no idea what’s going to happen next. You have no idea if tomorrow will be the best day ever or not. And you have no idea what the world would be like without you. You have no idea how the smallest of your actions could have inadvertently changed someone’s life. Maybe that one small smile you gave in passing saved someone’s life. Maybe taking that last candy bar inspired someone to invent the cure for cancer. You have absolutely no idea.
Isn’t that so terrifyingly beautiful?
