Book 9 for #ReadingChallenge2018: #GoneGirl by #GillianFlynn Rating: 2/5 🐣 Checking off book made into a movie you've already seen for #popsugarreadingchallenge2018 and thriller for #bcph2018goals. 🐣 I grew up reading mystery/thriller books so I can get critical when it comes to hyped ones. Flynn has a way with words. It was not a difficult read and it actually started out good... and that's the only reason I can't rate it lower than 2 stars because I have to give her credit. The concept was so good that I had a feeling my mind was going to be blown! And it did. Badly. 🐣 With books of this genre, plot is very important and there's this major plot hole I just could not let go and it bothered me to no end. Book 8 for #ReadingChallenge2018: #Neverwhere by #NeilGaiman 🐣 It's been a long time since I've had my Gaiman fix and reading this was so much fun. Gaiman's style is just distinctly different. Rating: 5/5 because I'm biased. 🐣 Checking off a book that's on my TBR list for too long for #bcph2018goals. Speaking of the goals, I think I've done 10/20 since I've read more than 1 book for some categories.
