You know what I also knew? That Axel wasn’t dead. Ha. He’s the main character. He’s got that buff. Still, I do wonder what sort of connection he has to Soryu. I am assuming the friend he had mentioned was Soryu who lost his memories of him. Maybe that Hundun Project Liz mentioned was what both Soryu and Axel were involved with? Were they test subjects? How are they going to explain all of this in the finale? The kiss scene between Axel and Chris was cute—I’m assuming Chris is bisexual? Still, I did like that after kissing him, Axel’s heart rate started increasing a bit showing off that it did get him flustered.

I honestly enjoyed the Eleina and Lin scenes. I think this is the first time Eleina has acted like a girl her age and it’s bittersweet to see because she never really had that growing up and it’s going to all go away once the promised day arrives. It’s like jerking the collar just to see Eleina this calm and relaxed for once only to take it away when the countdown reaches 0. It was finally nice to see what sort of person Lin is. The reason why she helped Skinner because he helped her in the past. This means that Skinner buying those islands was actually true and that the analgesia was a clue all along as Lin has the condition.

What is Schneider’s whole deal? He got his men watching over Doug who is in custody in the hospital, lied about detaining Hersch and even shot Hayes. I do wonder what his end goal is because he’s building up to be the final villain, but what’s the point if there’s only one episode left?

I also didn’t expect Visionary to return. I guess it makes sense given that they need all the hackers they can get. It was funny how Leland and Chris recognized him but Visionary does not. I guess it’s understandable why he would show up because Eleina and Doug are going to find Skinner so the mission control spot is bare. Still, he was an unexpected return.

There’s a lot of intensity building up that even the President is suffering from Hapna aftereffects as her eyes are becoming speckled. Yikes. I can’t wait to see how everything will wrap up. I just hope nothing will be rushed because of time constraints and two unresolved plot points. Let me know your thoughts on this episode!
