We’ve been putting off getting a new car since I stepped back from full time work. When I was working our car never gave an ounce of trouble, I used to praise the quality and what a great car it was and why would anyone buy a new car when you could just maintain your current one for years. Well, more fool me. 😬 Over the last few months we’ve have put in a new oil sump ( ouch), tyres, brakes, calipers, drums ( what the heck are they??!) and now the gearbox is being looked at today and I’m afraid of what else might be found.
