The New York Times snapped a pretty interesting on-site photo just days after Trump insisted yet again that vandals were responsible for the
Idiot.
Obviously needs a new tin foil hat. Either that or he needs to be taught (because it seems to be something his mother wasn't capable of...) that making up stories is wrong. Especially when those stories drag other people into his mess
Noisy Hotel Corridors!! I wonder why?
Noisy Hotel Corridors!! I wonder why?
Did you ever stop to think why (and how) noise from hotel corridors makes its way into your hotel room? Well here is a couple of example photos of how NOT to finish your door thresholds. Â Any sort of a resonable hotel door (with reasonable resistance to sound) would not stand a chance with a gap like this at the door threshold. Shocking stuff.

Day 226: Â The Three of Pentacles, reversed
This is the kind of stern talk I’ve expected from the cards all along.  I truly believe The Universe has decided, “No more Ms. Nice Guy.”
When the Three of Pentacles is reversed, it tells us not to expect rewards or even approval because we simply haven’t been doing a good enough job.  We might not even have what it takes to do the job right.  Perhaps we haven’t been able to create the conditions needed to achieve success, perhaps we ought to consider a career in retail.
But the Medicine Woman deck offers some positive steps to take.  It urges us to take a good, hard look at our skills, make a plan, and then gather whatever resources we need to do our best work.  We might very well need to ask someone for help or guidance.  But we’re not supposed to put off getting started.  In fact, we’re supposed to take the first step right know and then keep learning as we go along.  The main thing is to do what we can immediately and with enthusiasm, trusting in ourselves to eventually put it all together.  Meticulousness will carry us a long way.
There’s this screenplay I’ve been working on for months.  It’s an adaptation of an old book in the public domain, written by a woman author I admire a great deal.  I want to do right by the story for her sake as well as mine.  I’ve been doubting myself every step of the way and so the script has remained unfinished.  I’m really unsure of the opening and keep going back to it to tinker with a word here, a phrase there.  This card seems to speak directly to this situation, urging me to plow forward. When I get to the end, I can re-write the beginning.  But I’ve got to stop tinkering with the tiny crap.  And I’ve got to stop doubting my abilities.  Thanks, I need that.Â

Is $200 now my minimum price point for any given piece of clothing?
Is $200 now my minimum price point for any given piece of clothing?
Everything costs way more money now, for what I consider to be pretty basic items.
It’s not just me either.
This article sums it up — a plain white T for $7 or $70?
“A lot of retailers, they say they’re investing in price. What they’re basically doing is they’re taking quality out of the product and then offering the product at a cheaper price.”Â
There is no MIDDLE ground for NORMAL quality at a…

A rubber stamp that I spotted inside a used book (Exploring the Film by William Kuhns and Robert Stanley) that I picked up in Philadelphia earlier this week.
