Well, I couldn’t ponify Ghost and leave my other owlie out! Meet the TDC’s Strategic Analyst, Strix!
This gal is usually found either in the Data center, library, or her office, going over movement plans and battle strategies. She works hand-in-hand with Ghost and Chiro to produce the most effective strategies possible; Ghost for his cyber-offensive capabilities, and Chiro for his vampire knowledge.Â
While she looks bookish and quiet, there beats a passionate and fiery loyalist’s heart beneath that exterior, and a ruthless intellect just waiting to be unleashed by a sharp tongue. She can’t stand to watch her friends and allies do something stupid when lives are on the line. She also hates being wrong, or dismissed when she’s positive she’s right.Â
When Katarina fell and her position was usurped, and the Acherus Revolution began bringing the TDC body counts higher and higher, it was Strix who campaigned and campaigned to get the higher-ups to listen to her and her analyses. She could save Packmembers, she could! Just shut up and listen! She was repeatedly dismissed for lack of field experience, fanning the flames of her anger. Eventually, one of the Pack Alphas told her to give him the strategies she had slaved over, which she relinquished in sullen defeat, all her fire spent. Unbeknownst to her, the Packs used these plans to see if they really were better than the ones they’d been getting killed over. To their surprise, losses were minimized, objectives began succeeding, margins of loss dwindled. Field experience or no, the little lady knew a thing or two about battle strats. And when Chiro sought refuge among the other Nocturnals under allegations of betraying the TDC, Strix indignantly and furiously spearheaded the charge to end the vigilantism against the one mind in the faction who knew the vampires best. She won with the backing of the Packs, and kept Chiro under her protective wing -metaphorically- until the bat was called back into action.
