Pompeo isn’t just lying when he says this, this is full on revisionism. Trump didn’t help Ukraine, he refused to give Zelenskyy the military aid he needed unless the Ukrainian government agreed to investigate Biden. Trump tried to extort Zelenskyy and his government into doing his bidding, using their fear of Russian aggression as leverage over them. That’s the opposite of helping. Especially since Trump and his administration always cozied up to Putin.
