🎈 The award's weren't actually that bad-- He got an award for the FUNNIEST character; it felt a little PATRONISING . . But he accepted it nonetheless. Deep down, past his scrutiny, there was appreciation.

What he enjoyed most, however, was the little after party. Zooble was an artist at work, truly. Shockingly, Kaufmo didn't overdo it like he'd usually do around any supply of alcohol. Gangle got BLASTED though-- Zooble walked her to her room and left Kaufmo to tend the bar.

He wasn't a bar tender-- but he's drank enough in his lifetime to at least know his way around. Kaufmo was pleased to see Ragatha and Pomni talking some-- They seemed to be enjoying themselves; or at the least, working some things out. But Kaufmo was very observant for a CLOWN.

Pomni looked tired. EXHAUSTED even.

" Rough day ? " Everyone else had left-- Pomni remained as the LAST remaining bar goer. Kaufmo slides her a refill of her drink before leaning over the counter towards her.

" Why the long face, Sweetheart ? It looked like ya had fun today. "

"Guess who is the resident smooth talker of the day!"

Well. Of all time, actually, but he will leave that particular bit of bragging out of this equation, too preoccupied with the fact that he has succeeded in this circumstance specifically. As the red-clad audio demon appears from what is seemingly nowhere (an old, slightly creepy habit that he has never quite rid himself of) in front of Pomni, his arms are spread in a theatrical display. As though waiting for a bit of praise - even if he knows that is asking quite a bit from her.

"You now have one free evening to accompany me to the show I mentioned. Do not ask what I had to do or say to convince him - but we can simply assume that it is to the benefit of everyone." Details, details. Things he does not need to share and that matter little now that he has a plan for the evening in mind.

"Officially, you'll be there as my temporary assistant, but given that I normally go to these things with no one, there will not be much I will ask of you. So - feel free to dress to your preference. Unless your preference is..." Alastor tilts his head as he gives her a once over. Hmm. Considering.

"Office attire. Which - it can't possibly be. Now, I am no Velvette, but I know your wardrobe has to contain something you've been dying to wear, hm?"

It does not seem that he is ready or eager to take a no for an answer if she'd changed her mind since they'd last discussed this. Alastor is too relieved that he will not be forced to make the public appearance alone to even consider that she might not want to accompany him after all.
