what are fantashifters & polyshifters?

unfortunately I'm not familiar with the fantashifter term so I'm sure someone else can help clarify this, but the term polyshifter (also known as "polymorphs" in some contexts) usually refers to someone who has more than one form to shift into within the same animal family. its said that they're kind of rare since shifting into one form is already energy heavy and exhausting and I'm not sure on the specifics of if it's possible to be a coyote and dragon shifter at the same time for example, since the polyshifters forms from what I've heard tend to be within the same animal family (ex: a wolf shifter being able to shift into another canine).
