Adipic Acid prices ease after early-month peak
Adipic Acid values in the domestic market moved lower this week, giving back part of the gains recorded earlier in January. Indian Adipic Acid prices were assessed at Rs 135/kg, down Rs 5/kg from the previous week, signalling a clear retreat from recent highs. The decline has been gradual rather than sharp, with day-to-day movements remaining contained and orderly.
From a fortnight perspective, prices are now below earlier levels, confirming that the brief period of firmness has softened. On a one-month comparison, Adipic Acid continues to trade within a well-defined zone. Prices reached a peak near Rs 140/kg during the first half of the month before slipping back toward the mid-Rs 130s. The lowest point in the recent period was seen near Rs 134/kg, showing that downside pressure has so far remained measured. Compared with three months ago, the market is broadly lower, reinforcing the easing tone visible in recent weeks.
Volatility has remained moderate, with pricing adjustments occurring in small steps rather than wide swings. Indian Adipic Acid prices are therefore consolidating at lower levels after failing to hold recent highs. Adipic Acid prices in India continue to be guided by support near Rs 134/kg and resistance around Rs 140/kg, keeping market participants attentive to range behaviour rather than directional movement, Adipic Acid Prices, Chemical Market, Nylon Industry, Polymer Raw Materials, Price Easing, Market Correction, Supply Demand, Industrial Chemicals, Commodity Trends, Industry Update.
