Did you know that Nintendo make a 3D modeling program in 2000?
It was called Polygon Studio and was part of the Mario Artist Series, which was only released in japan. It was set to be played on the Nintendo 64 Disk Drive, which was an attachment to the Nintendo 64 that failed in Japan and never came to the United States.
In this program you could render 3D polygons, texture, and paint. And then the polygon model could be imported into pre-made animations and watch their work.
