concept: staubechemily all moving in together

a couple of them definitely have like, lived together already as roommates and the others would have basically lived with them along the line but it doesn’t become official until a little ways into their relationship 

i can see aubrey and chloe being roommates and then stacie moving in before they all get together 

they have to find a house bc well they’re gonna have five people living there! 

pitch perfect horror week // day one: who done it? (bellas inc. au)

The chaotic, determined team of Chloe, Emily, Stacie, Aubrey, and Beca banded together years ago to form a premier, supernatural investigation team called Bellas Inc. After a summer full of investigating nothing but false alarms, the Bellas head home. But on their way back to Atlanta, they stumble upon a case that might have more in store than meets the eye.

Beca 

Quality time, receiving gifts

Beca isn’t the best at expressing her love; she’s an awkward little thing, so the best way she knows how is to spend time with her girls. She’s always been more lowkey, so just chilling around the house or going to a simple lunch or something means a lot to her. 

Beca appreciates little gifts okay, but really this is more-so her expression of love. Words are hard, so her best way of expressing how she loves someone is through a gift - which 99% of the time is a mix or playlist that she made herself over weeks of making it perfect. What a dork.

Chloe

Physical touch, receiving gifts

Chloe is just all touch, okay? Hand holding, hugging, cuddling, all of the above. Some might call her clingy, but she honestly just feels most grounded when she has some sort of contact with whoever she’s dating.

Chloe loves giving and receiving presents! She’s awesome at it too, always putting all of her effort into getting someone the best gift she possibly can. 

Aubrey

Acts of service, words of affirmation

Aubrey is a tough cookie to crack. She doesn’t like being vulnerable, so her main love language is doing things for other people. She’d go out of her way to help her girlfriend and act like it wasn’t a big deal at all. 

She is good little verbal forms of support (i.e. her telling Emily to keep pursuing music and “aw that’s amazing”). And as someone who holds a lot of insecurities about her own work, words of affirmation mean the world to Aubrey. 

Stacie

Physical touch, quality time

Stacie isn’t quite “clingy” like Chloe is, but she has a more...possessive approach to physical touch. She lowkey always has to have an arm around a waist or shoulder. She also likes more intimate touches: tracing circles over skin and little kisses and playing with the little stray hairs that are on the back of the neck!

Similar to Beca, Stacie appreciates spending time with people. Whether it’s a fun party or a lowkey night at home while Stacie reads and her s/o does something else. Post-sex quiet moments also fall under this, just taking in the other person, talking about everything and nothing. 

Emily

Words of affirmation, physical touch

Emily has so much love to give, and she needs her s/o to know it! She’s constantly telling people how much they mean to her or how much she loves them. Emily also has some insecurities though, so hearing support from her loved ones means the world.

i think chloe was the first to really ease into the whole thing, considering she was the first out who was very outward with her feelings for the others 

chloe’s confidence in her feelings probably help stacie and emily ease into it as well, and they no longer hold back from being affectionate with the others and it starts to feel more normal 

aubrey and beca have the hardest time getting used to the new relationship 

they’re both really concerned about someone not feeling equal or left out or something and they end up dealing with it very differently

beca deals with it by overcompensating her awkward affection with all of them. like if she kisses one of them she feels like she has to give a kiss to all the others too 

aubrey deals with it by trying to pretend like everything is normal and they’re still all just friends instead of anything more 

the others clearly notice these two morons struggling and theyre like “you two know you can relax right?” 

“what are you talking about?? we’re totally relaxed” 

“sure ok” 

“look” emily starts “we all know we care for each other in the same way, right? so just calm down, okay? we’ll tell you if we feel insecure or something.” 

“yeah, chloe doesn’t have any problems with whining about getting attention” 

“:O shut up stacie no one asked you!!” 

“am i wrong, babe?” 

but they do start to relax a little more. beca feels comfortable sitting in stacie’s lap or something just casually while theyre hanging out and doesnt feel like she’s not showing the others equal time 

and aubrey doesnt shy away from calling them her girlfriends anymore

since it might be a while before I get any fic content out for the bellas mystery inc. au, I decided to go ahead and start an askblog for these 5! I thought it would be good because I can still give you guys content for the bellas adventures without having to dedicate myself to a full fic

oh yes i love my girls 

aubrey and chloe are usually the ones to have the really big fights

because aubrey thinks chloe lets her own agenda of proving the supernatural exists get in the way of missions

and chloe thinks aubrey is being obtuse and won’t listen to anything she’s saying 

they are very set in their own opinions so neither will ever say that the other is right. a lot of silent treatment and snide comments to the other three (beca, stacie, and emily try to stay as neutral as possible)

but they try to put things aside

usually aubrey breaks first because when chloe gets silent and upset with her she starts drowning herself in research and doesn’t take care of herself properly and aubrey can’t stand that 

so she sits next to her and offers her food and water and wraps her arms around her

they don’t say much when they make up but they both always know when the hard feelings are ready to be put aside 

beca gets in pretty big fights with the rest of them because she will 100% dive headfirst into a dangerous situation and has almost gotten herself killed multiple times 

stacie and aubrey are usually the ones to lash out after beca does this, asking what the hell she was thinking doing that!!

emily gets on her about it too because she’s the one who’s always patching beca up and she’s like “you can’t keep doing this to yourself beca” “whatever it’s not a big deal” “it is you dummy”  

once beca explains her reasoning behind diving headfirst though the others forgive her, because it’s always to save the others from danger they didn’t notice 

they make it up to her by showing her with kisses because “baby omg we love you so much and you love us so much” “ugh GROSS GUYS” (beca loves it no matter how much she complains)

stacie and beca get into little fights sometimes because they don’t coordinate well sometimes with their stupid plans and the one messes the other one’s plan up

then they get fucked over by whatever criminal they’re investigating and aubrey chloe and emily have to come save their dumbasses

they probably bicker afterwards

“it would’ve been fine if YOU hadn’t been clomping around in your high heels!” “Oh PLEASE like you stomping around in your combat boots is any quieter!!” 

emily is like “alRIGHT both of you are dumb just apologize, kiss and make up.” 

beca and stacie are like “fine whatever im sorry” (dummies) 

yes this is wholesome content i need to talk about thank u....

these girls are probably so stressed and tired by the end of a day of investigating 

they keep so many blankets and pillows ready in the back of the van 

if they’ve finished a case and it’s late, sometimes they’ll just stay on site and sleep in the van (never if they haven’t finished the case though, way too risky) 

also sometimes they’re just tight on cash so they can’t get a motel room 

so stacie finds the most legal place she can just park the van overnight and they all pile in the back

by the time Stace is parked, usually Emily and Beca are already dozing off in the back. Chloe’s usually reading, and Aubrey’s been riding shotgun

so Stace and Aubrey climb their way to the back 

Aubrey usually takes the book from Chloe because she’s over in the corner hunched over with a flashlight

“you’re going to hurt your eyes babe. come to bed.” 

Chloe doesn’t put up much of a fight because it’s these moments she sees Aubrey at her softest 

it’s tight quarters for five people, so they’re all forced to cuddle (not like they mind at all)

Beca tends to spread out a lot while sleeping. for such a tiny body she takes up a lot of room

they don’t really have a set arrangement, but since Beca and Emily fall asleep first, they’re usually in the middle

Aubrey prefers to be on the edge

Chloe refuses to be on the edge ever. And she will have as much contact with the other four as she physically can. 

Emily curls into the tiniest ball she can manage (which is hard when you have giraffe legs) 

Emily has nightmares and will wake up a lot during the night, panicked and making sure that the rest of them are still there with her

the others occasionally do this too, but it happens to Emily most 

When this happens the others usually help calm her down with soft whispers and hands rubbing her back and kisses and promises that they’re not going anywhere 

Sometimes Aubrey will sing soft lullabies right before she falls asleep

Stacie loves being the big spoon to the others. She likes placing light little kisses on the backs of their necks and wrapping her arms tight around their waists so she knows they’re not going anywhere

Chloe talks in her sleep. Usually mumbling about whatever she was just reading about

Sometimes she’ll jolt awake with a sudden idea of something to help solve a case 

Beca somehow always ends up completely on top of one of the others 

If it’s really nice out and they’re in a safe enough place, they’ll open the back doors and all listen to the breeze or the water of the lake they’re by or look at the stars before they fall asleep
