I went into my lawn/garden and identified some early flowering plants today!
The first plant is growing in the garden bed I removed rocks from late last summer. It has tiny little white flowers all over. My best guess is hairy bittercress, but I will double check when it isn't starting to rain. If I am right, this is in the mustard family and edible!
The second plant was another flower I didn't recognize. Veeeery tiny as you can see the flower is smaller than a single clover leaf. After a little searching on Ecosia, it seems to be creeping blue speedwell which is known to be a good low growing groundcover! I am happy to have it grow in my polyculture green walking area 🥰
