For my third shoot I decided to explore the person at work at Polgoon Vineyard whilst on a field trip to Penzance with the course. One of the lecturers arranged access to the vineyard despite it being closed to the public. I felt that this opportunity was not too be missed and that it was something slightly different to that in my two previous shoots. When thinking about what shots I would try to take, I was imagining the traditional image of workers picking the berries directly from a mass of vines in a field stretching as far as the eye could see. However this was not too be for multiple reasons, one being that the harvest season was over and so there were virtually no berries left to be picked. In addition to the lack of berries the weather was also very miserable and so shooting outdoors became a challenge, albeit a great experience shooting with my camera wrapped with a plastic bag. The lack of workers and berries in the fields was disappointing however, there was cider processing taking place in one of the small indoor buildings meaning there was of course people at work. I therefore carried a shoot out of the workers within the factory which I believe was quite successful in producing some images of the person at work. The lighting within the factory allowed for an ISO of 250 and a shutter speed of 1/80s with an aperture of f4.5 to also ensure there was a slightly shallow depth of field.
