About the long fall boots, you've probably tested this already but how confident are you that the support bands at the back of the calf wont snap off or bend after walking on them for a long time?
Yes I have tested the supports before.
In fact I could not bend them into shape because my body weight was not enough XD It took both my dad and I pulling on them.
As for snapping off I am sure they will not. They are being held on by two 3/8 bolts all the way through the leather and plastic on the back.
