Oh ho! So you're a teacher as well, Gloria, lovely! I can certainly relate to the trials and tribulations of balancing entertainment with enrichment. It's quite the tightrope act for a layman, but I think so long as there is a guide to help to inform beyond the base...well, there's no harm, right? Plus! It takes a burden off the creator and gives the guide a reason to spend more time with the one they are guiding. A win-win! Truth be told, my own little ones seem just as content with counting buttons with me as they would whenever I regale them with an epic yarn. It's just that one has more clapping then the other, but they've inherited their sense of timing from me after all. (Your secret is safe with me, Gloria, though I must say it's heartwarming to see that you daughter enjoys bonding with you in such a way.) Perhaps I should sit down with them, myself, and watch some episodes, maybe even see if they'd be interested in watching food get made beyond what's cooking in the kitchen... That's me! Caligo! Fabulist extraordinaire! I'm glad to be seen about, though I imagine at this point I'm a bit like a barnacle 'round these parts. Aha! Well that fits pretty well into a portrait view. Much like a homemade quilt! Though, I'm sure we can both agree, quilts are better used for comfort than to be put on display. From what I've seen from a bit of perusing and cruising, comfort is clear to see! After all, what is more comforting then something familiar, hrmm?
