Ford gets trapped in the mind scape

Fiddleford does notice Ford's missing, but he couldn't bring himself to investigate further

Ford finds a cursed ghost journal (don't ask) and continues to investigate anomalies, tho now he is one (well, more of one at least)

Ford tends to stay away from the town unless he's looking into an anomaly near there or if he's visiting the dusk 2 dawn

Overall, Ford is ok with how things played out, I mean, he wasn't exactly expecting to survive his... encounter with Bill cipher, but he's still not thrilled about the whole being dead thing, at least the world wasn't destroyed

40 years later, Mason (Dipper)decides to go to gravity falls to shoot an episode of his ghost hunting show cause there's been a lot of ghost sightings there

Mabel tags along because after Mason started his show, they haven't hanged out as much

Old man mcgucket still leaves in the dump and invited a high-tech wheelchair to help him get around (he's still as crazy as ever)

Soos works at a game store and works whatever odd jobs he can get to help his Abuelita (he never met melody)

Robbie is way less insecure after high school and stopped wearing his signature hoodie, he even has a baby sister now

Raven Valentino likes to wear Robbie's old hoodie (she thinks it makes her look cool)

Pacifica is still super snobby, and her family's mansion did burn down 10 years ago, but they just built a bigger one somewhere else

When Ford dies (I'm gonna make a whole post about that at some point). Which is right after Ford's paranoid arc, so in the interest of finally getting some sleep and avoiding Bill in the mindscape, Ford decides to take a nap, and kinda just, doesn't wake back up (Ford doesn't really see a reason to) Until Gideon finds Journal 2

Ford literally died trying to keep those Journals hidden and stop Bill. So when this kindergartner digs up one of them, Ford isn't happy about it (in hindsight, maybe hiding it there to begin with was a bad idea)

Ford goes into Gideon's dreams and convinces him to not mess with the Journal. I mean, he is the author, after all, and he's also quite dead. Convincing Gideon not to mess with this dangerous stuff should be easy, right?

Well, yes, Ford scares Gideon away from using Journal 2, but Gideon doesn't know when to quit while he's ahead, well, that and, he's dad's business isn't doing so well. And desperate times call for desperate measures

Sooo, Gideon summons Bill cipher, falls for all of Bill's tricks, and makes a deal to help rebuild the portal in exchange for power, fame, and fortune

Ford met him at the cemetery while looking for his grave (He doesn't have one, but he looks anyway)

Being a ghost as well, Cgj is one of the only things Ford can interact with. He has an agreement with Ford to carry Cgj around cause he can't move the journal on his own. In exchange, Ford can make notes and continue his research on anomalies

They get on each other's nerves sometimes

Cgj never runs out of empty pages, and magic ghost pen never runs out of ink

Cgj can move around the pages and can go to the cover when closed (think Maui's tato form Moana, but a book)

Likes to play escapism on guitar

He is stuck, Cgj can move through every page of his book, but he can't get out

[Ford] How did you get cursed?

[Cgj] Ghost wizard.

[Ford] whh?

[Cgj] He's right over there *points at ghost wizard*

[Ghost wizard] Sup

Cgj has unbelievable stories of how he became what he is. They always end up being true
