I peek out my window. It's cold, the trees rustle with the wind and the sun is no where to be seen. I slip my sweater over my skin. I open the door as the breeze hits me. It feels like fall. there's not a thought gracing my mind, My eyes gaze far into the distance, into anything. My feet are moving, forward. Through the meadow that looks almost endless, but at the horizon. At the horizon, I see trees. And my mind says go there. Go there and think, leave your soul behind and let it gather. Pick it up later and you will feel. You'll feel how the forest feels. The drastic changes of the season, the animals presence, sometimes unknown, the movement of the leaves. But mostly you'll feel harmony. you'll be a part of it. A forest dweller.
