So far, I'm having a blast translating Plautus. He just makes up words (Are these Aristophanes' vibes??), is constantly making jokes about the audience and in doing so, he allows us to glimpse into what going to see a play in Rome was like!
My only complain is having a mini heart-attack after seeing a greek word in the middle of a verse (luckily for me, it was just one).
Starting to translate the prologue of Poenulus, Plautus is definitely different from Tacitus... this is going to be either really fun or a complete nightmare.
