I mean they did more than that if you actually look at it more closely.

Took out the bubble highlights... Made the plaits pleats of a skirt softer. Made their faces rounder and the eyes less glassy. 

uhhh, did you watch the same movie as everyone else? because into the unknown literally moved the plot of the movie from elsa wanting to go to the enchanted forest and waking the spirits

I did watch the same film and while it does end with Elsa waking the spirits, I didn’t see that as a conscious choice on her part. I may have misunderstood that, but while it’s clear she’s more accepting of the idea of chasing after this voice, I didn’t see her releasing the spirits as a choice she made as much as a reaction her magic had to her emotions in combination with the voice and her destiny. It just... happened. 

And since I didn’t see it as a conscious choice, it didn’t feel like the song was necessary to get her to the point where her magic reacts and releases the spirits.

And if you’ve looked at any social media since this film came out, you’ll realize that there’s two camps over which song of Elsa’s is really the next “Let It Go” because while Into the Unknown is getting promoted as the true successor, I feel like the people who wrote and made the film felt otherwise. Show Yourself is visually and contextually much closer to Let It Go than Into the Unknown. So your assertion that I somehow watched a different movie than “everyone else” is... a little ignorant on your end and unnecessarily aggressive.

looking at clips from the first season to now I just noticed they went from thicker outlines for the characters to thinner ones

Yup, and not only that! Now the character models are all rounded up and don’t get as meshed while moving and talking. I swear it makes sense in my head pls just look at how less geometric s1 expressions are compared to later seasons:

yeah but to anyone who goes into KH3 blind and bitches about the story not making any sense should not because they have the opportunity to at least go to youtube and watch the cut scenes.

Why not suggest that to them instead of acting elitest with “Well if you had played/watched this you would’ve known about it!” you can go, “Oh if you play/watch this it will explain this thing, it’s really fun!”. Also I use what I said earlier, not everyone has the time to watch two fucking cutscene movies or a 40 minute video explaining everything. This is a numbered series, so naturally you would expect to be able to go from 1, 2 and then 3 without any problem. KH unfortunately decided against this.
