I assume tsurumi’s primary goal in making two groomed 12 year old boys fight for his affection was, knowing that there was no way usami wouldn’t beat tomoharu, to use the results of the fight to continue flirtatiously praising usami’s strength and skill, while destroying tomoharu’s self esteem right before he went off to military school to make him more unsure and vulnerable and reliant on tsurumi as a familiar fave offering comfort and support, and coming off well to his powerful father; as well as driving the two of them apart because he has easier access to both usami and tomoharu if they’re no longer friends. and I assume his secondary goal was that he was horny and wanted to watch them wrestle in the dirt. but I’m open to switching these goals in order of importance in his mind in the moment
