But what if we already know who it is? Someone hiding right under our noses! A certain lunar-based toon and Dandy's 'darling'
Let's get into it, shall we? :
This theory may sound insane at first, but there are connections, and clues.
This one's obvious : the eyes.

The samurai's right eye is continuously hidden, only showing their left,
A style choice similar to Astro
But their eye Does appear again!
Now doesn't that look familiar…?

They're on the top left, above Bendy and behind Cuphead

They have a purple color scheme with black hair
It's a common headcanon that Astro has long, black hair beneath his nightcap, and a slightly shifted purple would be a decent alternate design for his outfit

Not to mention : the flag here, suggesting the samurai is either male or male aligning
The only two characters in the pride posters who use the rainbow flag fully are Pebble and this mystery samurai!
Which not only suggests that Pebble is MLM, but so is the mysterious samurai
And who else in the comic we've seen so far is canonically MLM…?

This theory would also explain how the samurai has technology only Mickey has, that being : the Toodles Phone
Something only Mickey, and theoretically, other stars should have

He most likely has access to it due to Dandy being a star himself, and having association with Mickey, being the one to introduce Dyle to Dandy in the first place

This also explains what Nortsauce meant about the samurai knowing Mickey!
The mouse probably never met him, but Astro definitely knows who he is due to his status and relation to his darling flower

It was already confirmed that while Dandy didn't tell him what happened, Astro found out on his own

While Astro in canon isn't exactly the violent type : things have obviously changed in a world filled with corruption, survival and danger
It would make sense if Astro would want to teach Bendy a lesson for harming his one, and only

But there's another reason I'd like to believe
Clearing One's Name
It's implied in the recent update that there are rumors spreading around Toontown and the rest of the isles, potentially about The Health Department being the cause for the recent Blot outbreaks
Rumors that are quickly deloving, and are probably the reason Dandy keeps everyone inside the sanctuary, else they'd face questions, or worse

Despite Dandy allowing these rumors to spread, it's clear it's starting to get to them
The look on their face says it all
They're tired of being the 'villain' in this story
…having The Map, and all of the pieces to The Machine however, would make up for these rumors
A second chance for The Health Dept. and Dandy themselves, switching the role from 'villain' to Inkwell Isle's hero
A real cure to this dreaded curse
If Dandy had their hands on the map, and pieces : it would surely clear their name and put them in the history books
A happy ending for Astro's lover, after all the turmoil they've suffered

It's not just out of revenge, but to clear his partners name, and save Inkwell from the dreaded Blot once and for all
Even if it means doing things he doesn't like doing

Even when the antagonists of the book are defeated, that's not the end for them and the characters around them. In some cases, people do lose trust in you and you have to work to rebuild that trust, with Riddle getting the gossip behind his back and with Jamil's whole dorm losing trust in him after what he did. It's not over after you are defeated. You have to work to repair the harm you caused.
And also, to repair for themselves. Each Overblot survivor has trauma that sticks with them, but doesn't stop them. Riddle os working to be a better dorm leader despite how he was brought up.
And even with characters like Jamil, he does grow. Book 4 is the start of him being open about his emotions. He also learns over time that the way he treats and views others is wrong, viewing others as incapable compared to you is wrong, and that narrow mindedness also stunts you and your growth. From his failure and Leona's advice, he develops a growth mindset which is cool.
Even with characters like Kalim, who has had these negative emotions that he brushes off, he's still growing too from harm he caused Jamil, and even if he cares about Jamil, he is still frustrated with how Jamil treated him in book 4 and how Jamil saw him. He's also learning to be more aware.
They also help others who are going through trauma like them. Even if it's not in the typical way.
It was a low point for each character, but it is not the end. They also help others who are going through trauma like them. Not when you have caused harm you now have to answer for, and not for yourself. You have a duty to yourself to do better. You are worth fighting for and you can grow from a fixed mindset.

The tracks are highlighted in red, with the oldest ones being barely visible. All non-killer sounds fade away, with killer cues and music being a bit louder. Lasts for 10 seconds. Has a cooldown of 20.

Guest 666 claws at the killer, lunging forward with a swipe to stun them for 3 seconds. Deals 40 damage. Has a cooldown of 40.

but also þeres reasoning to make a lot of þings Not Planets because HISTORY! let me explain; based off of þe origins of þe word "planet" from greek word "planētēs" which means "wandering star". wandering star? a dot in the sky that moves!!! so, under a perfectly clear night sky in which you cannot see a certain planet, its not a planētēs (? is that plural or not?) and THEREFORE IS NOT A PLANET!!!! take that, neptune!
so. NOW i want you to question: is neptune a planet? if so, is pluto a planet? the answers will be the same.
