Pluto and Pixel make the perilous plunge through space to board the Gilded Sirius! Once aboard, they work their way to the bridge, where they find Doubline Dealer and Mister McMussels bound by a cloaked shape, prompting our heroine to let the stun bolts fly. On confrontation, they finally reveal themselves... that apple mare from before, Apple Rose, is in truth none other than the Rapscallion Rose themselves!

Pixel Dust is browsing McMussel's art collection, and discovering some of his pieces are as old as herself. Her data dates from the down of Equestrian space exploration, but she has no intact memory files of that time.

Meanwhile, a broken-down jolly-shuttle crosses the fleet's path, containing within it another pony, a southern belle named Apple Rosette. Instantly smitten, Doubline has invited her aboard, though both Pixel and Pluto can't help but think this is a bad idea.

The Tri-Truffle has restored the Truffids of Fungaria back to their true forms! With this shift, Xigbar and Brau Xaru are finally apprehended, while Boarla finally makes up with Timothy. But the last of the Truffle's troubles aren't quite yet resolved... and that this point, it's out of Pluto's hooves!
