Maxim is being way too gross, you can't just say she is young enough to be your daughter and then be all like idk what to do with her. Like idk Maxim literally anything but what your are thinking of doing.

Ich has way more spunk than I though she would but like not enough common sense and her personality is ‘I'm a schoolgirl’

like even when he asks her to marry him he has to be so mean, and then continues to insult her

Maxim is angry and lonely and now he has found a willing victim, book Maxim is far worse than in the musical or probably tv as well

like at least in the musical they are truly in love, in the book it all feels so strange and awkward

I should count the amount of times ‘gay’ appears ik its different context but still its there way too many times.

I think ich is the only one who is hopeful in the marriage she loves maxim and its so pure but maxim sees it as more of an arrangement without considering ich feelings. Mrs Van Hopper thinks that ich has been scheming to get maxim  

they both think her mind is older than it is 

but at least Mrs Van Hopper sees knows that ich isn't suited to be Maxims wife

I hate Mrs Van Hopper why did she have to go and say that what a cow
