Off farm gigs are fun. There was a water forming around the toilet, check for leak could not find one at the toilet so I removed it just in case to re Teflon tape joints and install a new wax right while getting a good look at the tank, found a leak on a #pex tee inside the wall replaced it then found a second pin hole in a pex elbow in the attic... no signs of mold so I ran ran a dehumidifier for a week and now it’s time to cover everything back up better than I found it... #diy #plumming #drywall (at Gold Hill, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAY02bCgyQy/?igshid=cdrybdh12wbp

This set up is pretty nice in many ways but also seems to clog up more frequently than most of the standard US p-traps I'm used to dealing with. Really a great set up if you ask me. So I’m staying with a friend for the summer, and I noticed after I went to the restroom this morning that the toilet was still running. So after a few minutes I went and giggled the handle to get it to stop. It seemed to be in the process of stopping so I went back to my room. Well I went to take a shower a little while later, and the floor had about an inch of water covering the entire bathroom. I called my friend out of her room and she began helping clean it up saying that is has happened before. But as we were cleaning it, her roommate happened to be showering in her bathroom and began screaming her name for us to find that the same thing began to happen to her toilet. So we are currently on hold with the plummers, unable to use either toilet...and I have to poop
