The unofficial start of summer is around the corner! Memorial Day Weekend kicks off the summer mix for many. For big cities around the country, this is a huge weekend to hit the social scene. PluggNation’s goal is to offer a location-based mobile application that not only connects you to bars, lounges, and special events throughout your city but also allows you to stay tapped into the locations and feeds of your favorite DJ’s and event promoters. Day Party Lovers: Tropix on the Mile (Freeport) offers a full weekend of parties launching their summer season, capping things off with a Memorial Day party on the Nautical Mile to reacquaint yourself with the sweet feeling of your toes in the sand. For Those Who Fete: Shhh... Brooklyn's best kept secret is moving to Coney Island for a day jamming to the Caribbean scene’s hottest DJ’s.
Looking For Something Different? The Secret Picnic Party is the perfect to-do when you want a more intimate get-together with friends as you picnic at a secret location that will be emailed to you 24 hours before the event on Saturday, May 28th.
Looking for a Great Cookout? Seven years later and voted by Time Out New York as one of the best summertime parties, the Makossa Brooklyn Cookout will be back this year in Bushwick to kick off the Makossa BK season.
