Gimme a plot where Muse A and Muse B, a male and female, fall in love. They’ve got a love grounded in friendship, they’ve got trust, they’ve got shared interests out the wazoo, they’ve got enough emotional intimacy to fuel an army. But their sexuality is homosexual. Sure they can cuddle, they can share some affectionate kisses, but they have no interest in exploring each other’s bodies and are not sexually attracted to each other in the slightest. Do they wonder if this makes them less a couple than others? Do they set up an open relationship of sorts where they get their sexual needs met by others but still consider themselves to be monogamous in terms of love and emotional intimacy?
