Plot: Heavy Wings
Muse A is an angel, a guardian angel to be more specific. Muse A has been guarding the father of a family unit since his birth. They are the glue that holds the household together in the present, two other angels watching over wife and daughter. Muse A is thrown into a state of panic when they realize their charge is sinning, sinning horrifically, damaging their soul irrevocably. So they do the unthinkable...they do the thing no guardian should ever do...they kill their charge while they are still pure enough to gain entrance to paradise.
The punishment is to be cast down from heaven, to be forced to live in a human vessel. Of course they have abilities beyond human limitations, they are spirit in a human cage and not actually human. Muse A, weighed down by guilt, but confused because they still feel as if they’ve done the right thing, begins to roam, till time bleeds together and they are unaware of the passing of years. Muse B is the daughter of Muse A’s charge, grown into a troubled young woman. Even though their duties are technically suspended, Muse A feels the need to become guardian over Muse B, much to the disgust of her guardian Muse C. Can helping Muse B find her way to solace ease Muse A’s own guilt and help them find redemption too?
