#plot twist!!!!!

dear red,

             i wish i knew what it was like to be you. i know you’ve gone through so much, and you’ve felt so lonely, but you’ve been loved. people have admired you, battled you – you’re a hero, a champion, and so much more.

            i wish i had that.

            i’m happy to cheer you on! please do know that. for me, that’s more than enough, but sometimes i feel terrible because i dream about wishing that i could have what you have. you rose so quickly to the top sometimes it feels like you left me behind beneath you. it’s not a fair thought to have because i think i did this to myself. there was never any room for me in pallet town. now you and blue are doing amazing things and i’m just… me.

             and i wish i wasn’t.
