I am the bearer of several strange and often highly specific curses of extremely varied significance. However, one specifically irks me to a disproportionate degree.
100 word goal writing prompt? 700-2k words
Settle in for a quick one sitting writing piece, just a couple hours? 700-2k words.
Work all day on something at a blazingly fast rate, ideas flowing real good and the words even better? 700-2k words.
Plan out a decidely large piece with multiple chapters or sections, work on it over a longer period of time, multiple sittings per chapter? Guess what. Guess how fucking long those chapters invariably are. Guess.
