The Mucchan redemption thing was heartwarming and all but all I wanna see rn is a Hidekane reunion and/or Saiko hugging her maman ;;;;
I’m really glad that Ishida went down this route with Mutsuki; although I don’t care much for his character and wouldn’t have really been affected if he was killed off, I still always thought that it would have been such an injustice if he was to die. It just didn’t make sense for his character not to go down the redemption route, so I’m glad Ishida seems to have thought the same.
As for a hidekane reunion, I can’t wait to see that, but it’s also not the right time yet! I think a lot has to happen before that and I’m personally looking forward to it. I sort of enjoy the phase we’re in while we wait for it. For now, what I’m really impatient about is HIDE AND SAIKO I N T E R A C T I O N.
I hope Touka gave them a long talk, it all seemed to fit so easy and I don't know what to feel about it.
I want Touka to slap the whole CCG awake, man.
tokyo ghoul & :re
tokyo ghoul left off like this ;
anteiku symbolised peace in oneself as well as ghouls and humans. touka saying this gave :re the plot of kaneki’s journey as well as his return home, so touka built :re for him. part one tokyo ghoul was purely tragedy of kaneki’s back story and the mistakes he carries out, whilst tokyo ghoul :re has tragedy, but also recovery. tokyo ghoul :re means tokyo ghoul ; one eyed king, but it also meant to symbolises kaneki’s return home and the further development of his journey.
tokyo ghoul was tragedy and :re was the journey back, which is why i have hope for :re to not end like the first. having kaneki return to :re and building relationships to suddenly be destroyed would be such a waste and destroy the main plot, adding to why a bad ending would not be suitable/terrible.
it wouldn’t be suitable for the series to end like this, because it would be a waste of the bridge being built between humans and ghouls. amon, a former human & investigator, is able to understand ghouls. akira, a former investigator, began to form a relationship with a ghoul. touka, a ghoul, gave flowers to the man who took part in her father’s murder. touka, who once hated humans, is married to a half ghoul, a former human. yoriko after finding out touka is a ghoul did not resent her, but only blamed herself. nishiki and kimi, a ghoul and human, were in a relationship.
these relationships were built to show that humans and ghouls can get along, which is why i believe the ghouls won’t be completely exterminated and that there is hope. it’ll be a waste of time and plot to completely throw that out.

What I expect from Touka vs Juuzou fight?
I would like to see what Juuzou's thoughts in his mind while he fighting Touka. Even maybe we might get some pieces in his poem. "Cat dog cat dog cat dog cat cat cat cat cat." finally Mutsuki appears after she killed Yomo* Juuzou is like: "dog..." *and he throws his knife into Mutsuki's head*
That would be fucking great.

Watching ‘Furuta will be eaten by Rize’ slowly go from a crack theory to a plausible thing is some of the most satisfying things I’ve experienced.
