I saw an interesting post
I am not a fan of Zelena, but she chose Regina over her supposed True Love Hades.
Where as Emma “the savior and hero” chose her toxic abusive boyfriend over her family.
She cared about herself more than her parents, her baby brother.
Never knew the definition of hero was selfish and for savior it is indifference and tyranny.. esp if you look at the way she beat up a defenseless man who was worried about abused captive children.
Fine if she wants to be selfish and cruel. But she is no hero or savior.
Adam and Eddy have made Emma into a joke.
Point I'm making is that Zelena, who I can't stand was more selfless than Emma I'm recent seasons. If this is what a man does to a woman then it's not a message I want my children to see.
Is most likely going to die .. Again to save everyone...Again. People who don't deserve it. I just wish this show would end this season. CY won't keep it going. Seeing that the writer's can only write the same old contrived plot, just different names every season. I wish we'd know if Robert was coming back. And honestly.. I don't want Rumple to.lose his happy ending. Meaning I don't want Belle to be in the show moving on from him. If they are getting rid of Rumple than have him and Belle leave together. Maybe Belle will start seeing what hypocrites Emma and the other's are now that Rumple called it out. I'm just tired. Tired of not seeing Rumple more . Belle at all. Tired of seeing what Emma has become.. she hateful, terrible person. And I can thank Hook for turning her into a bully. Please please ABC make the announcement that OUAT is cancelled. And please give Rumbelle a happy ending.
I've never been so involved in a show and its characters as I did for Once Upon A Time. I've come away not being able to watch earlier seasons just because it reminds me of what was and could have been. And the realization that the show became do terrible so quickly. I see so many lies and unkept promises that Adam and Eddy made. This show isn't about hope. Or strong woman. It's not about redemption. It's a lesson of how a TV show with great promise. Something with supposed twists becomes the exact opposite. By a failure of the writer's and showrunners to stick with characters and their development and instead go for plot at the expense of good storytelling. It's a lesson on how a show with great promise fell victim to the same old same old stereotype where a woman can only achieve happiness if she has a man. That she needs to make her life solely on them. And a man that is not even worthy of the woman she was. It promotes our society's rape culture, misogynistic views. It promotes a bully winning when he has done nothing. The show's only twists are the baiting and switching. It's still your basic white, hetero, good looking couple with no faults. Only without any form of coherent or decent writing. While any person,couple that doesn't fit into that mold is conveniently sidelined. Or used in a way to prop the white male misogynistic bully. The only other twist is how the viewers were duped into thinking this was a good show. And that it was hopeful.
