Daeron fanzine application info!
Applications are open for the Daeron the Drunken fanzine here
Some quick info about your application:
We'll get you to share with us a contact detail whether that be a Tumblr handle, email address etc. (this will be kept private and only used to contact to organise the zine)
Tell us what kind of work you'll be submitting!! The amazing thing about a fanzine is that there are very little limits to the kind of work you can put in. You can submit work from multiple categories. The application categories are as follows:
Writing - For fanfiction, character studies, meta essays, and other written works with a word count of 1k to 3.5k.
Art - For illustrations, comics, digital art, traditional art, graphic design, and other visual pieces.
Miscellaneous - For fanworks that don't fit into the writing or art categories, such as playlists, poetry, moodboards, fake social media posts, embroidery, cosplay photography, headcanons, and other creative projects.
The final thing is that we'll ask you to share at least two examples of your works (two for each category you apply to) - there are two separate submissions, one is a text box and the other is a file submission just in case. AO3 or google doc links are welcome, as are images. (if there’s an issue with this please let us know in the form or message one of us!!)
We reserve the rights to decline an application or final submission but most likely we will just ask you to edit a little to uphold the rules :) (if an application is declined we will 100% let you know)
If you apply, we will get back to you within a week to give us time to read your examples!
