I think an artist has two choices when they have a massive success (like as it was and harrys house) you can either:

Make the same thing and hope people won't get bored

Push yourself to experiment and risk some of your fans and gp not liking the new sound

I think harry was always going to experiment. He's won the biggest awards a music artist can win and I don't think has anything else to prove.

Honestly I like the aperture better than as it was. And I think it says something that critics and people who don't usually listen or like harrys music are praising this song.

I think perhaps you're overestimating the scope of whatever sliver of fandom your algorithm serves up to you personally.

Maybe you have seen some fans calling this era a flop. That does not mean "Fandom is now calling this era a flop". There's a very important distinction between those two things.

He just tries so hard to hold back that it’s hurting him, he’s in tears because he feels so bad and is so embarrassed about the whole thing. He knows jimin loves him and is encouraging him but he’s just to embarrassed to let himself go. Patting his chest is cannon so I can see him doing that a lot. And jimin (think that’s who I’m sticking with) is so panicked trying to get out that he doesn’t even notice, and takes Jeongguk’s quietness for being scared and/or claustrophobic and doesn’t want to put any extra attention on him knowing he’s shy. But then gguk pulls on his sleeve, fist to his mouth and pale in the face and Jimin knows

Jeongguk doesn’t even say anything, but he’s still so shy and so embarrassed about the whole thing and he hates making jimin worried. AND he won’t be able to practice for so long if he gets sick. He tries to tell himself it’s not going to happen as jimin tries to find something for him to be sick in. As soon as jimin finds a bucket for him though it’s like it triggers something in his brain to say “okay I can be sick now.” He fights it off for as long as he possibly can and eventually just tearfully asks “hyung… p-please don’t look”

The members finally stop practicing their song and hear the phone ringing. Pick it up to hear Jimin freaking the hell out and gguk throwing up in the background and it’s just CHAOS. It makes it so much worse when they throw the door open and gguk is exposed to all six of them at once AND their dance teacher. He just starts absolutely bawling - jimin who already is aware of just how embarrassed jeongguk is thanks them for getting the door open but promptly tells them to go and/or rushes his baby to the bathroom/somewhere private where he can finally calm the younger down from a potential anxiety attack

Natalie grinned as she strolled up to the coffee counter. "Hey,  Jenny Coffee. Did you hear that Connie and Steven ended up together?" 

"Who?” Jenny said, her head throbbing with the beginnings of a headache that came from using caffeine to deny sleep purchase in her mind.

“Connie Maheswaran and Steven Universe? You saw the first time they met and everything!” Natalie bounced eagerly, leaning over the counter. “After all these years, they just got together.”

“Cool. They leave nice tips,” Jenny said flatly. “What’s your order?” 

She pouted. “Aren’t you excited?”

And Jenny, being a normal human college student living her own life, said: “I could not care any less about anything that happens in any of your lives. What’s your order?”
