Well I liked playlist a lot but I mainly went to see like a few people, and its probably better if you only know of a few people because like you’re definitely not going to meet everyone there’s just not enough time. I didn’t like the hotel that its at though because the hotel was really small in the convention center, and it was really crowded and they didn’t have like charging stations for people who had cameras/phones. and they changed a lot of stuff where thins were and basically if you didn’t have a smartphone with data on it and had a twitter you were screwed because things would change and they basically just updated everyone with twitter and it was really unorganized.

(people waiting in line, hogging electric outlets because the signal was bad and killing their phones and there was no good wifi there)

However it was a lot of fun.

besides the fact alfie (i think it was alfie)

basically got swarmed by fangirls and girls kind of shoved each other out of chairs just to sit next to him. and that was the day i discovered i was terrified of teenage girls who were madly in love with british boys

I also got to see rebecca black perform

and I got to meet bing who is really rad and makes silly faces

the day i arrived with my pal this cool chick named megangore who i stalked her tumblr and i was a fan of tweeted ‘hey guys hang out with me im over in this place’ and well i kind of was a weird anon in her anon box forever and i called myself satan and i was like wow i really like her bUT IM SATAN WHY WOULD SHE WANNA HANG WITH ME. anyways when we went up to her she was hanging out with this other rad chick emily (abnormalstarr) and i was like hey and then i was like I KNOW BOTH OF YOU THIS IS RAD. and then we talked and i showed them my drawings I did of dan and phil and then megan was like holy heck and tweeted them and it was really cool and that was the first time i met megan and then we followed each other on twitter and tumblr and started tweeting each other and now we are best buddies and im going to visit her on new years woohoo how to make friends with gillian stalk them and then show them art!

I also bumped into bryony

Anyways playlist was a lot of fun and basically the saturday my friend and I walked in and the second it opened we just kind of followed the crowd not knowing what to do and we ended up at the dan and phil line and i was like HEY LETS WAIT SINCE PEOPLE ARE ALREADY LINING UP. so we waited like an hour and a half before dan and phil arrived, and when they arrived the whole room screamed, and like the funny thing was the people standing around me where like in highschool age and said to people around us “dont scream.” so luckily for my friend and I we didn’t have a problem with screaming girls in the crowd around us.

So we waited for another hour and a half in line (because there was a quick pass line and people kind of got to skip us which was v lame) and then we approached dan and phil. The week before I went to playlist I drew dan and phil two drawing things and I was really nervous because I was like “hey this is gonna be really awkward giving them these” also I had letters I collected from people who didn’t get to go to playlist on tumblr, and I handwrote all of them for everyone and then I had like 6 letters two drawings and I was really awkward because I also had my own letters (WHICH IM SO EMBARRASSED ABOUT BECAUSE I WAS SO DUMB) that I was going to give dan and phil.

So I walked up to them and I was kind of awestruck because wow these two really cute british guys that I watch on the internet and think are really rad are infront of me and holy cow i can’t even talk to boys in general so I was like wat i say. mode. and then Phil was like “HEY DO YOU WANT A HUG” and I was like “oh uhm yeah oh my yeah” and he spread his arms out really wide and then hugged me really tight and smelled like really nice cologne, i imagined it was blue idky but when I think of that smell I’m like it is definately blue. Fun fact the other day my mom and I were in a store and we were smelling cologne for no reason because why the heck would we buy cologne i dont know boys, anyways there was this cologne that had a superman symbol on it and it smelled like phil and i was like holy heck. Anyways Phil streched out his arms like a big bird and hugged me and then I looked up at dan and paused because wow dan was in front of me and then he smiled and I was like holy heck dan is in front of me (i was like that with phil) and then dan was like ‘you can have a hug from me too” and i was like “ohkay.” and i hugged him and he smelled like vanilla and he was warm and kind of squishy but im not complaining it was a really cool hug. Then I showed Dan and Phil the letters I was giving them and Dan laughed and it’s an amazing feeling to make dan laugh. Especially the kind of laugh where he tosses his head back and his dimples show yeah.

and then phil looked shocked at the drawing i gave him and I think he was kind of speechless?

and then I gave dan his drawing and like i swear that kid’s eyes twinkled and I was like whoa and he was like “you drew this?” “yeah..” “This is amazing.”

And they both hugged me and then we got our picture taken

hey hi hello they didn’t bend down or anything i’m actually that tall. and i accidentally touched phils butt. Anyways they were both very sweet and then my friend got her time with them. BUT I WAS SO AWKWARD I FORGOT TO GET SOMETHING SIGNED? I ran back up to them before she left and I was like “HEY HI IM SO SORRY CAN YOU SIGN MY BADGE THING?” and they kind of laughed and said it was okay and they signed it and then dan shouted after me as I left saying “Thank you for the drawings” and  i was like holy cow thanks.

and then i got so overwhelmed at the fact i met dan and phil i went back to my hotel room and sat under a desk because i had to calm down (and idky ever since i was little i’ve sat under like small spaces to calm down?)

and then dan uploaded his video that night where he fell asleep under a desk at work and i felt dumb.

then there were lots of shows and musicians

and some guy dancing in a window (which is funny because dan and phil or cat’s room was up in that general area)

there was a call me maybe performance from everybody

i drew jackhoward’s awkward smile and never gave it to him because i felt awkward that i drew his smile even though jack and dean and friends were literally walking around everywhere

and i met Tomska who is really awesome

. My friend went with me on this trip and she told him how he was the person that inspired her to get into animation and he was really nice and said that he was happy he inspired people and invited us to hang out with him later (unfortunately we didn’t because we needed to go home before we passed out in the convention center from exhaustion) He was really nice and chill and like if you ever want to meet him and you have the opportunity you should. We were really nervous to go find him and talk to him but I’m really glad we did because my best friend was able to talk to him and tell him that he was awesome and he inspired her and I was able to meet him .unfortunately when he had his meet and greet no one was in his line and we kind of screamed on they way home because we were like OH NO TOM WE FEEL BAD FOR LEAVING.

but anyways playlist is a lot of fun, but its also very nerve wracking if you have social anxiety problems, i know i was really nervous to meet people and i know there are people worse than I am with that kind of thing and it would be really overwhelming if you have social anxiety problems

but i also filmed dan and phils mainstage show at playlist and mainly dans butt because i didn’t have a camera stand and i was holding my camera up with my arms and 30 minutes of holding a camera can kill your arms so its really shaky so if you watned to watch that you can watch it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwnVsd_uc-0
