Happy Wednesday, and welcome to today's Chalk Art Time-Lapse Throw-Back. We travel to the 2016 Play Fair convention, a companion show to the Toy Fair (also held in the Javitz) but open to the general public.
I was tasked with making a mashup piece that included many of the most famous @nickelodeon characters, which included Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Shimmer and Shine, Paw Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and of course Spongebob Squarepants. All of these shows have very different art styles, so it was a fun challenge to bring them together and tie them visually into one cohesive mural.
The final art was 9' wide by 13' tall and took about 28 hours to complete. Enjoy the time lapse, and please share!

Play Fair NYC 2017
This is the second year for Play Fair held at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center from November 4th and 5th with a preview night on Friday.
Plenty of fun activities to do with the kids as well as getting the first shot to play with some of the toys, that will be hot for the Christmas shopping season.
