Regarding amount of players in ReadTrans
Obviously, we all know there is A LOT of Homestuck readers, luckily I have thought of some ways so I could narrow it to a few-ish yet pretty much a lot(?) number.
1. The possibilities of clicking it. I will likely say majority of the fans WILL click the link, curiosity killed the cat, or whatever. They’ll probably think it’s some shoutout to SBURB Burgundy, which rather doesn’t make sense and Hussie would just shoutout it likely to the news part thing. So there is some chance a reader wouldn’t click it.
Also, it’s April. Usually April Fools last on April 1, but sometimes it is usually the whole month, so some would probably think it is just a joke and there will be more upd8s, or that the link just directs to some page sayin “April Fools!” and shit.
2. How many readers are even reaching the current. Of course, majority of the fans reached it and wait for the updates while few are trying to catch up on the madness. I myself do know a lot of people who haven't catched up yet, so that's decreasing player amount to about....a million still, actually. I mean, I don't know how many readers are there all I know the possible amount of PH readers.
Some would actually not think about reading the last page, because they're probably scared and might click it another time, but we'll get on to that in another post.
3. How many would survive the meteors. If you just clicked the Download SBURB link and suddenly you can see little flaming rocks up in the sky, realizing that you're downloading a real SBURB, how would you react? Of course there's the typical, "OMG SBURB IZ RAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111" blah blah blah and actually do shit since they know what to do from reading. Some would practically run around screaming until the meteors hit them and get killed. There's probably gonna be heart attacks, fainting, and all other stuff. Now based on humans, I'd think it's safe to say to make it about 1/3s down. So we got about less a million...?
4. Accuracy. Now of course, some of us would go to their friends and quickly assign each other to clients and servers and get on to work. Now one obstacle to go do those? Shitty Wi-Fi.
A lot of us may have this, seriously my Tumblr is lagging I have to write this post in Notepad then paste it in Tumblr so I can type faster and easily see any grammar mistakes. We have all obviously seen this with Rose, having internet problems and all. So sometimes there's that time the download time will take HOURS. You'd be fuckin dead. With my shitty Wi-Fi I myself wouldn't probably be able to survive.
5. Parents. Of course most of us are probably leaving in apartments and shiz, but there's those kids who live with parents. I might say some parents will notice that (News might report it and such) and will grab their children's asses and evacuate, making sure you can't go and have "fun". There's a chance you're getting somewhere with no Wi-Fi, unless you have a pocket one (i fucking envy you).
That's all I got for now. I will explain further more about the others in another post.
