I'm suddenly reminded by a children book that my family had about a mother and her two daughters with really long hair. When the mother died, one of the daughter never took care of her hair and one day was abducted by the queen of lice. It has pictures as well and the pictures were, in hindsight, was absolutely terrifying. I think i had a nightmare bcs of that.
