As part of my exploration process of the Mayfly through plastics as an alternative and workable material for other uses other than its first conceptional use. I experimented in Studio 1 /sewing materials room by using the iron to create these 3d pieces out of used plastic bags/netting and hessian.
To capture these images of them I continued to experiment with light boxes and in preparation for our end of semester showcase for first year I hung them from the ceiling to gauge how they might be used as part of an installation. The end result wasn't fantastic but I did learn to use my space from a different angle than I usually would.
