I have found so many of these smiley face "Have a Nice Day" plastic bags all over the place. I have no idea what kind of shop they're from but certainly creates a lot of litter! Pre-sewing white prayer flag. Made from cut out text from numerous white plastic bags. White is by far the most common colour I have collected even if there is often additional colour/print on the white bags. #plasticart #plasticprayerflags #plasticprayerflagproject (at London, United Kingdom)

White plastic prayer flag against the light. Made with white convenience store bags (I find almost daily on the streets of London), El Corte Inglés bag from the streets of Lisbon & "Puma" from left-over detritus of Chapel Market. They always distort a little during the fusing as each plastic bag is slightly different in thickness and some are made with LDPE other are made from HDPE. #plasticprayerflags #plasticprayerflagproject #makeartnottrash (at London, United Kingdom)

Some of the work on my Plastic Prayer Flags has to be hand sewn as the machine is jut a little too aggressive for the polythene! This is probably the tidiest studio space I've ever used!
