Big clean up this morning along the 2 mile stretch of the King’s Hwy I normally walk. This bag contains large items but also over 600 cigarette butts (I stopped counting after 600). Mauny people don’t know that cigarette butts are plastic. In fact, they are one of the worst kinds of plastic- microplastics. When the paper wrapping breaks down thousands of fibers are released. Trash picked up today, largely plastic. The second photo shows two items picked up less than ten feet from a trash can in the #northhamptonnhbeach parking lot.
