#plastic paddy

I’m taking these now, as this is the only fucking summer we’re going to get.

Once upon a time I would tie one on and go party hard. When I still ran a website blog I would change the whole theme all month for March and write stories of Irish history, my families role in the troubles and their anti-British activities in Armagh.

Not any more.

March has become riddled with other memories for me now. Also Im old so going out with hooligans to act a fool isnt my thing really anymore. Im sure you can still find the stories via the wayback machine if you tried. Who knows.

Instead tonight Im making a nice irish based dinner of lamb and potatoes. Will have some tea and cookies/biscuits. Probably watch a decent movie and will tie one on here in the quiet of my livingroom just me and the hounds. May even throw some records on and just listen to the tunes.

Its been a helluva week as it is. Its time to relax and let it go.

I’ll post what I can, as always because I have nothing better to do and booze is what this blog was about originally so its basically habitual now heh

So I propose a little Tumblr fun for the rest of us homebodies regardless of age.

I’ll put a virtual toast up later this afternoon. If ya’ll want to split a bevvie with me? Toast as well. We’ll “buy” each other rounds and have a small Tumblr party. Post your party food, party music and we’ll share alike.
