I've recently learned that if you're a plastic chewed, get yourself a McFlurry spoon. It's the best shape/type of plastic and I LOVE IT.

Finished placing it and went to go put everything else away...
...and found Caspian with, no exaggeration, six inches of a large, plastic storage bag down his throat. He tried to run and the bag was caught in the idiot's gullet so he ended up tethered and tripped all over himself as he tried to flee. One part gross, one part hilarious. He coughed it out and got loose before I reached him, but dammit. That cat's gonna kill himself. If you've swallowed so much of a plastic bag that it's TETHERING YOU IN PLACE then there's a problem.
I BOUGHT YOU AN ASPCA APPROVED PLANT SPECIFICALLY SO YOU CAN CHEW ON IT ALL YOU LIKE. STOP EATING PLASTIC YOU DUMB FUCK.
