College Feels
It’s been months since I said goodbye on being a high school student. Now I am looking forward to college (I took psychology as my program)
There’s a lot of circumstances I faced before entering college. One of this is what course should I take up. Ever since I wanted psychology but a lot of people (mostly my classmates & friends) discouraged me of taking up this degree because as they said it’s not in demand but I chose what I want and what is in my heart. Psychology is interesting and fun (based on what I heard and read :D).Â
Another thing is which school should I go. I only took entrance exam on state universities considering that we have some financial issues. I took the admission test in PNU (Philippine Normal University) but unfortunately I didn’t pass. So it’s okay, cause I am not rooting in this school. I also took PUPCET because PUP (Polytechnic University of the Philippines) has known for its affordable tuition fee and the quality education it provides. For the 2nd time around, I failed. My world crumbled upon knowing that I didn’t passed. I spent days crying like it is already the end of me. But I didn’t stay like that, I took the courage of standing up and starting over again.
Now, I will be studying at PLMun (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa). This school has never been in my option of school to go in college. But this is where God leads me. Through this, I proved that no matter what you plan if this isn’t God’s will for you, he’ll not give it to you instead he will give things that’s beyond your horizon. He’s plan is ALWAYS THE BEST.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” - Jeremiah 29:11-13
On July 13, 2015 (Start of my Class) I will sail into the vast sea. ALONE (physically but deep inside I know that God is with me). With him I’m off to a greater place.
May he be the one to give me the strength and I courage I need. I’m afraid of things to come but I shouldn’t be because the things to come are my stepping stone to become a better person.
