Thinking about Query and Echo's first meeting with Edward
he is not at his best, since he's just broken out of Arkham for the nth time and thanks to the drugs they put him on, he's a little unsure if the spiders at the corner of his vision are really there or not
he just wants to steal some smokes from a convenient convenience store, except there's these two ladies also trying to rob the store as well which is awkward
but he helps with the safe combination because it seems to be giving them some trouble
(they didn't ask, Edward is just shouting out the numbers because this is the first puzzle he's seen in a while and actually it turns out he needed this more than the nicotine)
anyway nothing really goes to plan, and now the cops are here, and Edward is still trying to find a lighter and not really paying attention, so Echo just grabs him by the scruff of his neck and hauls him away with them, and its the start of a beautiful friendship
Okay, so obviously Eurydice and Orpheaus are Charles and Edwin. Niko and Crystal, on the other hand? Could be a tragedy from the cursed House of Atreus? Or Crete's many many tragic tales (Ariadne, Phaedra, Icarus, Dedaleus, the Minatour)?

So I managed to finish all my drawings for whumptober in time, not inking but the drawing at least yes, so I'm quite satisfied with my first experience in this. ;)
Next I will be inking some of the remaining drawings that I like, possibly for the next week or so.
After that will come writing the new chapter of my Batman fic; 'Overdrive', and the illustration that will accompany it.
