What would you say your writing process is like? Also, you said you had trouble with book four (something involving the antagonists power), that it would no longer work. You said later in an update that you came up with a solution. How do you manage changing things when planning doesn't go as intended? Do you simply brainstorm, or do you ask questions and seek inspiration?
Oh, good questions!
My writing process is FAR more organised than my planning process, that's for sure, hehe! :D
My planning is usually all over the place before it eventually all comes together in a neat way at the very end. But it takes a lot to get to that point, and I am giving myself a lot more time for planning this time around as there's a lot more variations and branches to take into account that I want to work seamlessly with the Book Four narrative.
For the other books, I would mostly just work on things myself and keeping writing out notes and things until I got a new idea if something wasn't working.
This time around, I am talking it out a lot more with Nai. She's brilliant at just listening whilst I bounce ideas off of her. I think she realises she doesn't really need to say much but just be there to listen as I go through ideas and sort out the mess in my head! It's a much better way for me to process getting to say things out loud as I can usually figure it out things as they're coming out of my mouth, lol!
I seriously appreciate her patience for listening to me ramble, hehe! :D
Thank you so much for the ask! :)
