Thanks for sending it to me <3. And yes, she’s correct. All this bs we see in the press is to drive a narrative that the celeb’s PR team want AND for the tabloids to profit off of scandals and celeb stories. Whoever doesn’t see that is honestly incredibly naive. 

The industry is super fake, and most things are fabricated, including many celeb’s personas. They do this in order to sell a lifestyle, product, and their careers. It’s always been that way.

Not to mention that getting pap pics and endless articles about you is one of the best ways to promote projects and keep a celeb’s profile high and relevant.

Obligatory “romance recap” to set the narrative straight. Have you heard of Don’t Worry Darling? How about her ex-fiance of 9 years, Jason Sudeikis, who she has 2 kids with? They broke up in November 2020 btw:

Oh did we say ex-fiance? Nah, let’s just call her an adulterer on main: Jason is her husband. Says The Mirror.

Apparently he’s back in LA protecting their home and 2 children from a stalker. While Olivia is gallivanting in London in the cusp of a pandemic grinning at her boyfriend at pubs while her husband files restraining orders for her. Sure.

Never mind that TMZ went through all that trouble of issuing a correction article to the restraining order and stalker news to say that Jason had nothing to do with it and it was Olivia who filed, and they don’t.live.together. Got it? THEY DON’T. Nah. The Mirror says otherwise.

Oh did they say Jason is her husband? Oopsie, he’s her ex. Yep. We’ll end with that one.

It was very clearly about changing his image in preparation for babygate. 

I think people need to understand something about PR and image. Having the paps show up at every lad night at a club is not candid. Those photos are not of the paps “catching drunk Louis” or “catching the 1D star in a car full of girls”. THEY ARE ABOUT CREATING A STORY. 

Louis’ image up until that point had very much been “the funny boy with a serious girl back home”. THE MINUTE that was out the picture, his image changed to “just another party boy pop star who is careless and only cares about partying and fucking girls”. You see where this leads? An oopsie baby. 

His image was completely flipped. He went from sweet, caring, funny to reckless, irresponsible, fame-affected pop star.

Because the funny boy with a sweet serious girl back home wouldn’t suddenly get a rando pregnant. That would have looked very out of place. So they needed to flip his image for that to make more sense and be more believable. Even if he and E had broken up. He still carried that image. So it was changed.

And about him going through a lot. They all were. And also, they all partied. But we didn’t see much of it because that wasn’t the image the others had. Think about celebs as a whole. You think they don’t party and go to clubs? They do. But we don’t see it all the time. And that’s because it’s kept quiet or amplified depending on the image and PR game going on at the time. Sure there are times when some pop stars do get out of hand and do get caught partying. But that is certainly in the minority. Because most of the time that kind of stuff is kept quiet by their PR teams.

In Louis’ case however, there was a pointed and direct effort to amplify that image of him. Paparazzi at every nightclub he went, club promoters posting his location on twitter to attract more people/fans, pictures of Louis partying allover the tabloids, getting into cars full of girls -> very stereotypical pop star image.

This isn’t to say that he never partied, or that he doesn’t. But it’s more about the fact that we only saw it when it fit a certain narrative they wanted to push. Most of what we see is on purpose. Not an accident. It’s all about PR. All of it. Celeb life is fake AF. It’s all manufactured to look a certain way. ALL.

This is even more obvious when you take, for example, the fact that 1D’s image was SO controlled, that interviewers were not allowed to use their own cameras or equipment during interviews. 1D’s team provided interviewers with the 1D team’s camera and equipment. Edited the footage to remove anything they didn’t want getting out, and gave the interviewers a memory card with the footage that they edited on the spot. THAT is how controlled their image was.

Yes anon, that was a pap walk with one of his beards (Nadine Leopold) back in Dec 2014. He looks really pissed off bc he is drunk out of his ass. He was at a bar w/ Jeff, then she arrived, they switched coats and their teams gave them the bags so it’d look like they spent the day shopping together or something. Jeff called the paps, they took the pics and she left.

I have gotten a LOT of messages about the current narrative in the media about the stunt, so I just wanted to go over some things. This will be long, grab a snack.

The DM published this article on Jan 14 2021:

And it mostly just rehashes everything we have been reading over the last 2 weeks since they unveiled the stunt. However, what differs here is that they respond to the backlash Harry was getting over last week’s claims that he “was the cause of Jolivia’s break up”. Essentially the tabloids are blaming Olivia now, implying she lied and said she was single. Key word implying:

They paint Holivia’s relationship as “messy” due to the contested Jolivia breakup timeline, and that Harry didn’t know they broke up in November. When in fact that timeline itself has not been confirmed. It’s all in speculation in the press:

The press themselves keep emphasizing how there are SO MANY different sources, and depending who you ask you’ll get a different story. They keep writing the same thing over and over but in different words. Again saying that (and pay attention to the wording here) “it is understood” Olivia said she was single. They’re basically saying that they don’t know so this is the assumption they’ve come to:

They then move on to Jason, who we’ve been told from the start desperately wants her back but feels he can’t do much right now and has to wait for Olivia to come to her senses or H to move on:

And then The Sun got an exclusive on Jan 14th 2021:

They again just say the same stuff over and over. 

HOWEVER, there seems to be a bit of a switch of narrative now. They had been hinting at this previously, but now they’ve outright said it, that Holivia is but a fling for Olivia. It’s a temporary thing, and it’ll end fast. 

They also emphasize how heartbroken Jason is, how desperate to get her back, that he’s shocked this is happening. Oh, and Jason is filming in England now:

They make sure to say Jason is not a ‘crazy ex’ that he’s just REALLY heartbroken, crying on the phone to friends, and telling Olivia he wants their life together back, but she is too infatuated, not in love, just infatuated and isn’t changing her mind for now:

So this is where we are at. We are due the next phase of this stunt, which I think they will start soon. 

But bear in mind, that all this mess and speculation, and assigning blame, etc. ALL OF IT, is the press creating the drama. Sure they introduced the conflicting sources, BUT they did that because THIS IS THEIR PR STRATEGY. All they had to do was give People Magazine a source that contradicted the other source and say ‘oh no Jolivia broke up in November’. And BAAAMMMM. We’ve had 2 weeks of daily articles about this mess. This is exactly what they wanted. They are everywhere. Their movie is everywhere.

I’ve gotten questions like:

“I don't understand that if this was a stunt created by them to promote the movie and Olivia, why would they be putting her in such a bad light right now. Like if they wanted this clean cut to promote idk why they'd drag her through the mud?”

“If this is a PR stunt why would they be making Olivia to look so terrible?”

“Wouldn't that make her reputation suffer or do they not really care about that since Hollywood is so fake?”

And the answer to them is basically this: in the grand-scheme of things, the fact that she is being portrayed in a bit of bad light right now doesn’t matter. This is just the current narrative surrounding the story, but it will change soon. It has no lasting effect. Next week or whenever it may be, when they move the stunt narrative, she’ll be portrayed differently. When this is all done, the story won’t look like it does right now. They switched the narrative so fast from Jolivia being done for a year, to them having recently broke up - and they’ll do it again.

And this has no real impact on their reputations in the industry either. It’ll blow over. It happens to every actor. Everyone in the industry knows it’s PR, they all do it - no one is pressed. It won’t affect their acting careers negatively. It’s actually accomplishing the opposite by giving everyone intense press coverage and helping their movie be more successful - which ultimately helps everyone’s careers.

Also this stunt was likely pushed by the studio as well, so they’re not viewing anyone involved in this in a bad light bc they’re the ones who created the storyline for the stunt to begin with.

If you’ve noticed, Harry is barely in the narrative, it’s mostly about Olivia and Jason. That’s what they’re focusing on. Harry was introduced to the ‘plot of the stunt’ so they could create the drama. But he’s a secondary character here.

If they go the direction I think they’re going with this stunt - that Olivia and Jason get back together and they say Harry was simply a friend, then this whole mess won’t matter in the end. It will simply be taken as: oh look the media just made a big fuss about nothing again. I mean it’s so obvious, Holivia has so many ‘insiders’ and ‘sources’ - how many gossip story couples with these many inside sources and heavy press coverage have you seen last more than a few months? Yeah...it’s the oldest PR trick ever.

This anon basically summed it up pretty well:

"And following whispers of flirty text messages and behind-the-scenes arguments, heart-broken Jason remains determined to win Olivia back, despite insiders painting an increasingly chaotic picture of their life away from the film set where her fling with Harry was first sparked." It looks like the shred of truth in all of these stories is him wanting her back and then the tabloids have to make a crazy story around it.”

I’m with you in the seeding the breakup, and I do think they’re headed that way quite soon.

But, having the blatant insinuation that you lied in a legal document does not make you look good. It just doesn’t. 

I think the issue is more that this legal filing exposed the fact that she has been living with Jason this entire time - they never stopped living together. Because if you paid attention to the article the stalking was happening before January, so before the stunt. It happened for months at the end of last year. The stalker says that Harry Styles is being credited for what he (the stalker) is doing (dating Olivia). 

So to have her say in a legal document “I live with Jason and our two children”, aka, “I live with my fiance and our 2 kids”, aka “I live with my family”, really leaves no room for her to be dating someone else. 

So I think they’re just trying to save face for the stunt narrative so that people still believe they dated and they can move to whatever “breakup phase” they have planned next. Because if people think the stunt is fake and they didn’t date at all, then why will we be getting “breakup articles” and potentially drama or sad broken hearts...and eventually a dramatic Jolivia reunion. None of that makes sense if the public thinks it’s fake. So they have to protect the story they made up.

Different PR stunts, different purposes, different time, different goals, different teams.

In a nut shell, Hamille was more of an “excuse” beard. She was there as fallback to any speculation about Harry’s pride flag waving and gay innuendo during tour. If speculation arose about his sexuality, the press would point at his “victoria secret model girlfriend”. Also, she served to change his image to a more mature, capable of long-term serious relationships guy, as opposed to his previous 1D image of a fuckboy popstar who can’t be bothered to have a gf for more than 6 weeks. And also as an excuse to give a narrative to lyrics in his upcoming album.
