Book Buzzes

Library conferences give us the opportunity to do presentations of our top titles for libraries so I thought I’d share the handouts with you all, too.  

At ALA Midwinter, I presented highlights from our Spring/Summer lists.

If you were registered for ALA Midwinter, you can now access the recordings on the show site - you will need to log in to access the videos.  Here is the recording of our book buzz from the Book Buzz Theater.  I haven’t even watched this yet so I hope it turned out well! 

At the Public Library Association conference last week, I spoke about highlights from our Summer list and was able to add in some Fall titles.

There’s always a time limit on these book buzzes so a lot of worthy titles have to be left out.  If you would like to see our full catalogs, they are available on Edelweiss and you can also request digital ARCs where available.

And don’t forget, many of these titles would make great LibraryReads picks.  LibraryReads is the nationwide “staff picks” list and anyone who works in a public library can participate by reading ARCs and submitting nominations via Edelweiss or Netgalley.  See LibraryReads.org for more information.
